This week Seattle Seahawks 49ers pregame thread.

This time, The Seahawks will be facing Trent Williams, the niners regular uniforms, and garret wallow. They're screwed.

I like teams coming off a bye. I hate getting byes. Rest leads to rust. I think we saw that to an extent yesterday with Philly.

We blitzed a ton last night and it paid off. I hope Saleh continues to do that against Darnold. He is not comfortable against it and could be the key to beating them.

Exactly!!! Byes aren't always exactly the best thing for your team.

Seattle unveiled new looks on defense when they faced us at the end of the season.

They basically went all in to secure the #1 seed while we were leaking oil and limping along.

That "should" give us an advantage this time around.

-Trent Williams at LT is HUGE
-Kendricks replacing Bethune is HUGE (Kendricks was assignment sound and impressive as hell against PHI)
-If by some miracle Warner plays then our LB corps will be a strength instead of a weakness

I can't express how dogs**t our LBs were that last SEA game. They blew basic gap assignments non stop

The offense has to figure out what the hell they did wrong last time and correct it. There was a chance we could of won if CMC hadn't handed the ball off to the defender, but there were soo many 3 and outs were we looked completely inept and that was with Kittle.

I think we need to get Tonges into the game plan a lot this game(Kyle is forced to now instead of forgetting he was on the team the last time we played Seattle) and hope Pearsall can come back and be effective.

If Pearsal actually plays we have a chance.

Another thing I like...last time we faced SEA we were on a tear b/c we faced bad defenses.

The jump from a bad defense to a top 5 elite defense takes time for the offense to adjust

Timing and spacing are just different with elite/bad defenses

This time we are coming off a game against PHI which is another top 5 defense

Only the second playoff game ever for Sam Darnold….he shat the bed last season with the Vikings….stop the run, get an early lead, make Darnold have to pass and pressure his ass = he s**ts the bed AGAIN

No on believes me but those hideous black uniforms were forced into a 7 game winning streak and disrupted the flow of the universe.

Stopping the run will be key, but we need the pressure to get home to speed up Darnold into mistakes.

I am hoping Fred can play, seems like he is ready, but the doctors have to clear him.
