One more on Bryce Huff — the 49ers didn't owe him any money in 2026, so the Philadelphia Eagles ended up paying most of the bill for Huff's time with SF.

This makes sense as he would then be have every right to have his $1M roster bonus and his option bonus, so just release him so he doesn't unretire like Anthony Davis did, which ugh dude was horrible, refuse to play any other spot on the OL.

Just going by 2025 production, Clowney, Joey and Cam would all be upgrades over Huff. Hopefully we sign one.

I can see Joey signing because he's not going to get many opportunities to play with Nick. Plus he's at the stage of his career where he's not really a starter IMO. Vet depth at a key position. He can start if needed but will be rotated a lot.

I can see Joey signing because he's not going to get many opportunities to play with Nick. Plus he's at the stage of his career where he's not really a starter IMO. Vet depth at a key position. He can start if needed but will be rotated a lot.

He's a Bosa, he's not going to give us any discounts to play with his brother. That money would be better going to Clowney or Cam both guys with a lot more maturity.
