Robert Saleh
officially official now

i'd bet he's here for at least two years. even after the Niners win the 'ship this upcoming season.

Always nice to see other teams fans on here, anything you can say about Huff? I know the scheme wasn't a fit, since he played inn a 4-3 W9 scheme in NY, & you guys run a 3-4 scheme.

Also as a 49ers fan I have to congratulate you guys on the SB win, I wanted you guys over the Chiefs, so happy they got denied a 3 peat even though it seemed like the NFL wanted it.

Best of luck this season, and yes Brandon Graham is a legend for the Eagles, but nothing but love, not gonna trash talk you guys, big fan of Barkley, I live in NY, so I've seen a lot of Barkley, the Giants messed up paying Daniel Jones and not Saquon.

I'm still in disbelief that the giants just let him walk. Lol as soon as I saw he went to Philly, I was like damn, he'll crush it there. Awesome O Line, weapons, rushing threat at qb.

I love to watch the eagles lose but I also have to give respect to a well ran organization. Especially one with such a demanding fan base. Philly fans can be nuts. Lol

it was like watching the Seahawks dismantle the broncos. Hated to see them win but had to respect what they just did. Lol

Ya I couldn't believe it either. The price tag we got him for was equivalent to Darnell mooney's contract lol. Crazy how undervalued running backs were just a year ago

Heres a positive.

This, and...

He's cheaper for this year, younger, the has better advanced metrics than Floyd does in basically every pass rushing category under Saleh. Next year he most likely won't be here anyways, it's an option we can pick up or decline, most likely it will be declined. Hopefully he has a good year for us and he can go get paid elsewhere and we come out with a comp pick.

Has this FO done anything good that you don't b***h about lol? @jcs

The possible comp pick is something most haven't thought of. If he is lights out he either gets extended with a lower cap hit or they don't pick up the option and he gets paid somewhere else and it could lead to a comp pick.

It's such a dumb thing to complain about.

It's a low-risk deal with potential for huge upside to reinvigorate our pass rush. But I guess some people need to b***h about everything.

He's not that big. A pretty good athlete but not great. Those guys often fall. How you play on the field isn't always related to that. But they obsess about height, weight, speed.

I doubt it's the size. He's 6'3 and 255 lbs.

I think it's pretty obvious that Jed was in some sort of financial trouble. Most of the offseason moves were to keep from paying bonues, and were more to save CASH than cap space. Why else would he sell part of the team? But now that deal is done, there seems to be a little money flowing into the team again.

He was undersized coming out and experts didn't think he could hold up against the run - which is pretty much what he has shown. He was also just a speed rusher in college, and very one dimensional. Tackles with good length could just shut him down. Keep in mind, people keep talking about his subpar performance last season, and what a better fit he is in Saleh's defense. But his first two seasons, both in Saleh's defense - he only had 2 sacks each season. So his ONE stellar season came in his contract year...
