Fangio was just hired as well. no one really knew what the Philly D would look like after the previous years. you sign with the team that offers you the best contract.
i do find it hilarious that you sit on your high horse playing monday morning GM and call someone stupid tho. whatever makes your life feel better i guess.
I believe he talked to Vic about being in a 4pt stance at one point during the season.
its clear he's best setup to play out of a W9 with his hand in the dirt
Four-point stance Bryce Huff clearly generates more of literally everything as a pass rusher. More explosiveness & power are very evident.#Eagles pic.twitter.com/5sSuaJt8ne

Done deal: The #Eagles have now agreed to trade DE Bryce Huff to the #49ers for a 2026 mid-round pick, pending a physical. pic.twitter.com/7Od4xYyDXK

Sweet. Celebrate!
Let's hope it's a 5th, which should be the 168th pick next year.

Vic prolly sent him out to cover a TE and then benched him for not being productive

hey guys. First time posting. Eagles fan here. Looks like the trade is a 5th that can turn into a 4th depending on either playing time or performance.
some stuff on huff. Just a horrid fit for fangios scheme. Fangios scheme doesnt call for pass rushing specialists. He needs his defensive ends to not just be able to drop back if needed (that is overstated. He dropped de back but not a lot). The bigger issue is huff just couldn't set the edge on rushing downs. As soon as he came on the field teams ran on him. He was so bad that it would be 3rd down and teams would run a rb at his direction and he'd leave a massive hole there. I think not setting the edge got into his head too that even on obvious passing downs he stopped getting to the qb. Just a bad year for him. I think him going back to salehs defense will be huge for him. Just as long as you know he's just a pass rushing specialist he will be fine. We messed up in thinking we could project him to be a starting DE but that never materialized. Overall I think this was a good trade for all parties. I'm shocked that we were able to get anything for him. I thought it was heading towards a cut situation. But it's a great fit for you guys cause that's the one defense he shined in.
also fellas if you have absolutely any questions about him feel free to ask away. I'll try to be as honest as possible on him
