The same story every year. Since we always ignore it. It doesn't have to be this way. We could address it.

I don't think WR is bad at all. Jennings is playing great. Jordan Watkins looks great. Kittle is probably the best TE overall. CMC is capable of receiving out of the backfield at a very high level. Aiyuk will eventually come back. But not right away. We are fine at WR. Offensive line is poor depth and lacks talent at certain positions. But we always ignore it. So you would expect that.

This is the worst WR core I've seen since 2005

You think it's worse than 2016 when our #1 receiver was Jeremy Kerley?

Pearsall, Aiyuk, Jennings, Robinson, Watkins, Cowing ... could be really good.
There are two issues that's making it look "bad":
1. Robinson is probably going to miss the first 3 weeks. Aiyuk is certainly going to miss the first 4 weeks, then he will need time to get up to speed.
2. Pearsall, Watkins, and Cowing are unknowns.
BUT ... they COULD be really good.
If the team went out and signed a new starting WR to a starting WR deal then someone on that list will get lost or have to get "injured"

My biggest concern is the number on Niners games that will be blacked out in Eugene because the NFL decided that this is now Seahawks territory. Never mind that there are far more Niner fans here than Seahawks fans. I'm guessing the Seahawks owners put pressure on the league to do this because the 49ers were selling more merchandise. So now I either have to sign up for Sunday ticket or miss a few games. I can also find a bar that shows the games but I hate watching games in a noisy atmosphere. I can get highlights by watching red zone which is what I'll probably do.
The NFL and their broadcast territorial rules suck. Money Money Money.
