Then after week 3 we get D Robinson back and week 6 we get BA back. Gage, Watkins and Moore have like 3 weeks to show they belong before 1 gets axed and then another gets axed week 6!!! Tough life!!!

Aiyuk can come back week 5 if he looks good.

My guess is Jennings gets "healthy" soon.

Nah. Never had a precedent of a rookie who was drafted before 6th round who was cut before or during the rookie season, under this regime.

Even Cam Latu, who came closest to this was given a redshirt phantom injury year.

I don't think Saleh/Boyer thought he would get snatched up like that. He'd definitely be more help on our squad than some of the scrubs we currently have on the PS right now.

What's the issue? Why would the 49ers cut Watkins? They don't need to sign anyone else, they have 4 WRs on the PS, 2 of them most likely will be elevated for week 1 if Watkins can't go then they should have Pearsall, Gage, Moore, then 2 of Jauan, Chosen, Turner, & MVS.

It'll be interesting to see what 7 players are inactive week 1, I'd assume 2 OL, 2 DL, 1 RB, 1 CB, & then Watkins or Jauan, or both while suiting up all 6 CBs since they only have 3 Safeties on the 53 right now.

Have they released the official depth chart for week 1? I assume the secondary is gonna be Lenoir, Green, Stout, Brown and then ? at the other safety position?
