Pretty meh move for me but we are desperate. Guess in regards to the type of WR we can find right now he fits the bill.
Provides speed/threat down the sidelines so he can be used to open things up for the guys underneath. Also a guy who shouldn't hold anyone back once our guys get healthy. Don't expect much but hopefully we won't need much from him.

MVS is a good addition. Already knows the system and language via Matt LeFleur at GB. Should be able to plug in right away. Takes the top off of defenses.

Yeah I am not certain there is anything better but yes...very meh.

The #49ers are signing WR/KR Junior Bergen to the practice squad once he clears waivers. He was the only one of their 11 draft picks waived yesterday, so they all remain with the team as of now. pic.twitter.com/UjuwMmTIzm

Last I checked there aren't a ton of 1K WRs in their prime chilling. These are bandaid signings/depth.

I'm happy we're bringing back Bergen, I know he wasn't ready, but give the kid a yr on the PS to develop & he might be a good WR/KR/PR in 2026, as we know Skyy Moore is only signed through 2025.
