This kid got some talent. You play a season on a torn ACL; you get some damn respect on your name!

Glad it wasn't. UFAs would want to come here due to possibly getting some playing time.
In the QB realm, we have an established starter. Unless something happens here, a UFA QB we really want is likely going somewhere else.

9 3/8. That's 39 percentile. Brock is 9 1/4. So marginal.

I like this pick . Purdy is small and playing behind a crap line so this guy can hold down the fort if purdy misses a few games .

The #1 Overall pick's hand size is only 9" even but what shows up on film is he really doesn't have issues with his grip and seems to crush the hell out of the ball while running all over the field.
People discuss hand size and forget to discuss grip strength alot of times. Purdy's handsize issues are really a combination of the 2.

Preferred a flyer on a different position, even with the OL allergy.
However, I do like Rourke's arm strength and touch. His footwork needs improving but can also have been affected by the acl injury. I also like that he can see above the OL.

Toughness not an issue and the book on him was that he'd be an ideal fit in a Shanahan style offense. Worth a flyer in the 7th.

Such an unnecessary pick.
Could have drafted Isaiah Bond, Jared Ivey, Brashard Smith, and a dozen other good players over a QB3/4 that will never play

I hated watching him shred my Bruins for 4 td's, but he is very fun to watch. Legit talent. I also think it's wise to draft qb's. the 49ers know this better than anyone thanks to Brock. You never know, it's worth a flier. Keep the QB room fresh and competitive
