The fact that we drafted Black in the 3rd round says a lot about this guy and Guerendo.

It says more about their draft process than anything else.

it's more about Shanny and the love to finally hit a RB in the 3rd round... I still say that he's never gave all them bust 3rd rounders the chances that they deserved.

I actually think they were all busts and needed to go. I'm just glad we don't hold onto guys because of their draft status when they don't deserve a roster spot.

Aside the 3rd rounder from Utah (Joe Williams) who was often injured, I just did not see too much playing time from Trey Sermon and TD-Price. I just don't remember any excuses as to why they were not given a chance...

They were bad picks and weren't good players. If they were so good but Kyle messed up with not playing them, they would've been good somewhere else.

And weren't they beat out by Elijah Mitchell, Jeff Wilson, and Jordan Mason? All pretty good backs

If this last RB pick doesn't pan out KS/JL should be banned from picking any RB's in the future.

What I find strange is that Kyle, and his father (who had the same running back coach we currently do), were famous for finding good running backs in the later rounds or UDFA and now we keep taking guys in higher rounds and can't hit the broad side of the barn.

Kyle is a horrible drafter and should not be allowed to make the picks.
Jed needs to hire a strong GM that is in charge of the draft
Yeah. If the rb's stay healthy during camp, this will provide real competition for the back who will be #2 behind CMC

It could be just the speed and power of the game. The NFL is at another league and a lot of these drafted players physically and mentally dominated in college. Once they get into the NFL - *they* - get physically and mentally dominated and can't recover. Remember, Walsh *benched* Jerry Rice at one point in time! it took him a while to jump his game up to hall of fame level.

How do you fix this without firing Lynch? Is there any other way of fixing our drafting issues?

ShanaLynch just sucks in the day one and two, they are money on Day three and UDFA's.

Easy, promote Lynch to team President. Bring in a veteran GM with the chops to tell Shanahan no.
