I remember watching this live. Center was holding him by the damn dreads. CJ had multiple good reps in this game.

Vinovich just refuses to call offensive holding in our favor
Didn't notice / hear of him tonight

He looked lost a few times I noticed him out there.

That game kinda went by fast, and maybe that Falcons offense was just moving the ball a little too quick for everyone to eat... stats or not, I'm sure he did what was asked, his time will come again

He's not active today for some reason.

I think he's struggling to play with that cast.
He looked bad against the Rams.

CJ West is by far the most disappointing rookie to me. I expected a lot more from him even as a rookie.

Everyone was high on him and down on Collins in training camp.

shows drills don't mean s**t

I was high on both, but not because of drills. CJ West's Indiana tape was impressive . He hasn't been bad at all. I just expected more.

I guess SD was wrong that west was already an upgrade over Jones . Shocker. Still think he will be fine, guess I expected more out of him this year

Its not that drills dont mean sht, its just that some guys with certain body types will do better in some drills inherently.

Shorter, stocky guys with better anchor will usually shine more in one on one drills. I remember the offensive lineman Poe also doing real well in these drills and he was also a preseason crush of many.

Its kind of like its easier to bench with shorter arms and narrow base, and its easier to squat with shorter legs

His best trait is his "heavy hands"

Unfortunately he had a gdamn broken thumb to recover from

Give him some time to to ramp up after healing before you pass final judgement

Jonnydel showed West doing a good job against the Rams. Said he should get more reps in the future.

He had a broken thumb which limited his practice and game time. His profile spoke an active, aggressive hands. He described himself as having "angry hands." Now that he is healthy, we will see more of him. He will be a good NT-type.

CJ is highlighted at the 4:35 mark:
