CJ > DJ at least on very raw talent. He's quicker, faster, more explosive, maybe a little stronger, younger. He's just a better athlete. Certainly in quickness or speed. I thought he as pretty dominant in College. Who knows what he will be in the NFL. But I suspect very good. I think he's much better than where he was picked. If he is 1 - 2 inches taller he goes higher in the draft.

I really hope he plays like how he is portraying himself to be
I loved Ian and DJ, but we shouldn't forget that it took each of them a few years to get to the point where they could start in the NFL. I think that is more Evan Anderson than CJ. CJ has more ability than those guys did.

And hopefully violence! 😂

I hope the offense really struggles in camp because they can't win up front :)

(I also hope later in camp the OL gets better because the DL is pushing them so hard)
Favorite pick of our class on draft day. Hearing his presser today just adds to it. Love the energy.

And if I had 1-2 inches taller in my pants my wife still wouldn't be satisfied

CJ's mockdraftable comparison with DJ is a 85.6% match. There's only 3 DTs in their database that have a closer match. Damn near identical athletes based on the numbers.

The faster, more explosive, more athletic guy is CJ West. They are not comparable. CJ West is more athletic.

CJ West - Indiana - 49ers - 6'1-1/8" 316 lbs - 4.95 40 yard dash - 28 reps bench.
DJ Jones - Ole Miss - Broncos - 6'0-5/8" 319 lbs - 5.04 40 yard dash - 28 reps bench.

DJ did not and never has run in the 4.9's. Very fast for this size. Actually a little taller and faster and more explosive. Also the more active player coming out. He was awesome if you ever watched him at Indiana. CJ West that is.

This guy doesn't equal that guy just because you want a comparison. Each player is an individual. CJ is more athletic. DJ was 6th round. CJ was 4th round.

So you want to waste a 4th round pick, on a guy that's never played FB....
