I guess they dont see Lenoir as a nickle. Already drafting a nb to move Lenoir out wide

I guess Lenoir is home outside:). With 7 picks left, they can take multiple shots at IOL, still can draft one or two more DL guys (3T and the speedy edge rusher everyone wants), and take a couple shots at other positions based on how the board falls. All four of these guys have a chance to start which is the most you can hope for.

I'm satisfied with day 1 and 2. There's a clear vision for the team.

This guy will be more than fine at nickel. The 9ers are really putting an emphasis on stopping the run this year.

Nick Martin was a 5th round LB

Upton Stout was a 6th round undersized, oft injured CB

Every year these guys over draft players in the 3rd round. It's rediculous

That's the frustrating part, not necessarily the player. More so where they're are picking these guys.

Lol

last year they took renardo green #64, puni #86, mustapha #124

They all look really promising
He fits that mold that we like at NCB. Similar to guys we had in the past like DJ Reed and K. Williams. I'm excited to see how he develops.

He can do both. But at the contract he has, maybe they want him to focus on the outside/top receiver only.

Interesting!
Didn't know anything about him but I'm digging this pick more and more.

I said 3rd round picks.

Go look at their selections since 2017. Warner and Puni are it in the 3rd and then a dozen guys taken 3 rounds before they should have been.

It really makes no sense

You put too much focus on what number pick a player was. If Mel Kiper had a 7th round pick on a player and Lynch takes him in the 3rd, that doesn't make it a reach or a bad pick. Let him play a couple seasons.
I wonder how much input Saleh is having on these picks. They might feel bad that they got him back and then lost all that talent, so they're giving him this draft.
5'8 - 1/2" 181 lbs. At least he runs fast at 4.44 40 yard dash. This team man. Sometimes I don't understand what the heck they are doing. I don't believe this is at all a top 100 player. A 3rd round guy. He's a little, tiny Smurf. Not sure this will work in the NFL. On the tape he appears to be pretty instinctive. Even makes tackles behind the line and mixes it up physically. But some serious size, bulk and strength limitations there. I think this is a highly risky pick in the top 100. This is a 6th or 7th round guy. No way I believe he was the best player on the board at that spot.

pretty much this you are just going with what the nfl.com says instead if doing your own evaluation. The problem with this is media is scouting for every team but some players are better scheme fits than others

Martin only dropped because he missed games this past year. Last year he led the conference in solo tackles and had 16 TFL. He is extremely agile and seems to be a very good off ball LB

i actually liked stout and had him as a CB i liked before i just didnt think we would get him because we traditionally like CB with length. He also isnt afraid of contact and is great in zone coverage

What doesn't make sense is you thinking you know any better.
