What's the deal with him? I know he was on IR for the hammy, but I assume it is healed up by now.

Really wish this guy will come back strong from his injury. Still not sure he can play NFL LB at a sustained, high level. A 3rd Rounder...still hoping he can make a strong impact. Could really use him now in helping w/ the LB depth.

Yeah much rather see him on the field than Gifford. But isn't Martin on the IR designated to return later in the season? Who knows; he's been a massive reach/bust to this point

Amazing. They may not activate him this year because they have limited activated slots. So he's ready most of the year and unavailable. That means no development and no seeing what he can do. Wasted year. Duggan replaced Greenlaw and Bethune's still on the roster. Perhaps a losing team may want to tap into his potential with a low draft pick. Same with Bethune.

Since we are signing guys off the street I assume he isn't ready or they just don't want to use one of the 8 IR return designations for him. Looking like another early round bust.

They will give him his 21-day window to practice but I believe it will come after the bye week, so they have a better idea how many slots are left. The current numbers say he won't be activated but maybe that changes later down the road,
