ugh, it's just you because I'm almost positive Collins played more snaps than any other IDL yesterday. Dude was doing all the dirty work that goes unnoticed.

he's being inconsistent right now... body is not used to playing this late of the season and may have taken some pounding from the NFL veterans...

DO NOT be alarm though, he's going to have 2.5 sacks at the minimum if he plays the whole game!!

The Big Nasty !!!

GO NINERSSSS !!!

You're right he had 31 snaps, didn't grade out well though. lol he does do the dirty work but he's not Justin Smith just yet. Saw him get stood up a couple times but also made a great tackle working his way to the opposite side of the line.

He seems to stand out at least once a game for a batted pass, tackle for loss, or something else, but PFF seems to grade him poorly just about every game. Tough to figure out honestly because he makes some big plays.
One batted pass a game isn't going to get you high ratings on PFF. He just been average. Let's see what he does next year. Get that pad level down and get in better shape and hopefully his game starts showing consistency
50 is average

That's more interior defensive lineman snaps than anyone on the team.

He actually should be playing less snaps and CJ West's snaps need to increase by a lot. He is playing so well. I think he's fresher than Collins.

I really like Fat Alfred, but he was pretty invisible last night. Hoping for a big game from him vs the Hawks.

I agree, CJ West has shown better pass rush and overall speed but we want an anchor which makes sense considering all our LBs have been hurt..

The fact our run D has been pretty good tells me he is doing his job his job is to block open lanes take on blocks and allow Lb to clean up

Eagles had 19 carries for 85 yards (4.5 yards per carry) when #49ers rookie DT CJ West wasn't on the field. It was 17 carries for 55 yards (3.2 ypc) when West was on the field. When West AND Alfred Collins were on the field together, Philly had 13 carries for 38 yards (2.9 ypc). Impact from the rookie DTs has been growing.
