I think you are the one being stubborn here. How about you leave this thread alone for a while, because you are starting to look worse and worse each passing week.

I hope I do, I'm not sitting watching the game hoping he fails like a lot of you seem to think. I'm just saying what I saw. Hes still getting stone walled or even pushed back. Not that he doesn't have any good plays but he hasn't given me confidence in his ability once we face an elite offense.
I'm "beating a dead horse" but when I make 1 comment being critical, not being impressed there's 7 of you blowing it up then blame me

You obviously weren't watching. You said they were having success running until Connor got hurt. Connor averaged 2 ypc but you ignore that reality.
So, what we are left with is you just make things up to suit what you perceived to have happened (despite it being wrong)

45-2:00
Collins getting stoned
3:45 Collins sets a bull rush but loses momentum and gets stoned
5:30 Stoned
5:45 Ok play held his gap but an inside blitz forced the rb into him
7:26 Stoned on pass but looks to play run
7:58 Knocked himself out of the play
8:13 Stoned but looks like miscommunication
8:24 *Incredible get off! But lacked agility, running back acts like he didnt blow into the backfield and goes for 25 yards
13:01 Stoned but facing a double

This further demonstrates that you ARE looking for the negative. Your third example where he was "stoned" he caused Murray to leave the pocket 6 yards upfield.
He's regularly holding position against double teams. His pad level, though still not perfect, is getting better. His get off is WAY better. His motor is vastly improved. The fact that he's getting upfield on passes at all is huge.
He's certainly not some kind of all-pro DT, but the way you talk about him it seems you think he should be cut.

So would you say you watch the game live while looking strictly at OL/DL play?
Thats what I pay the most attention to and my focus at snap yes
I'm not going to call you a liar, I just think that's an odd way to watch a game for the first time when you're trying to see what's happening on the actual play.
Not to mention the TV camera angles are not very good at showing what's happening there. You've already admitted you don't watch the All 22 film. You tried to put 59 yards on Collins from Kamara last week. Maybe you should give it a 2nd watch first?

That's how they roll
We're not going to play this game krizay. Since has every right to come in here and voice his opinion but if his opinion isn't shared by other people then he should expect to get called out for it.
He already admitted he doesn't actually watch the all22 film. He's literally responded to clips most see as positive with criticism. This isn't a "i'm right and you're all wrong" situation. And if we're talking about proper expectations it most certainly seems like Since's expectations are way out there.
Now I just went and watched Alfred's reps from this game and it wasn't his best game, he looked better vs the Saints. However it also wasn't terrible and it most certainly wasn't a game to criticize for a rookie unless you have absurd expectations in the first place.
Collins made an impact on two key plays. The run stop before the Cardinals threw for the tying TD. Fred and Sam got the credit for that stop but Collins beats his man inside and gets the penetration and prevents Benson from being able to go forward as Fred and Sam wrap him up. The play gets forgotten since Arizona still got the TD the snap after but it was a really good play by Collins in that situation.
And then on 2nd and 9 before the 2 minute warning. If he doesn't maintain his gap or get into the running lane causing Benson to slow up as Fred got in there as well it's likely a first down and we're 2-1 right now.
It's hard to take someone seriously when they claim to watch the game focusing on the OL/DL play only...and then can't even see when a player they're criticizing is not on the field.

I didn't remember a play like that watching Collins' snaps just now. Could be since the DTs on that play were Jordan Elliott and Kalia Davis...
So someone explain to me how you can watch so closely during a game live(when you don't know what's going to happen) and even on a highlight replay you can't spot the actual player you're evaluating?

I'm not only looking for negatives, granted knowing these are only highlight plays so there will probably be more positive offensive plays. I mentioned a couple good things I saw and yes his motor does look better and he's not getting blown off the ball as often but he isn't looking that good either. I think this is the main aguement a lot of you think me being critical and unimpressed thus far you think I've giving up on him. The way some of you talk he's the best DT on our team
