I'm happy with this pick. LFG! Load up a couple more studs in the middle please!

It's a good pick. Every single pick we would of made at 11 would of got the same hate. In this draft, every player minus 4 or 5 of them has question marks.

Alright big dog! Sounds like you're a fan. I didn't dive much into him but from what I've seen - seems like an excellent prospect who can stop the run really well (huge plus in my book for a young player).
What kind of upside are we looking at? I just saw a stat that opponents averaged 0.1 yards when he made a tackle - hopefully he didn't have a high miss tackle rate
Roof is Aldon smith. My comp has been JPP
he is 20 years old
he has great size and athleticism
his floor is a good run stuffer...he will start as a rookie
his ceiling is demarcus ware / aldon smith...he has the potential if it clicks

Yup. Unless we got like Abdul Carter every player would've had someone b***hing.

Terrible pick. #11 and you pick a guy that's never posted more than 5 sacks in a season...
Where's the proven commodities and production?
He will be lucky to get 5 sacks this year...
Sacks is not the only thing an Edge is supposed to do. In the 49ers Wide 9 the DE MUST be able to set the edge.
True, but this screams Erik armstead 2.0.
I think most fans would want blue chip at pick 11.
The guy had 5 sacks in 6 starts this year...so it is not like he was bad when he played.....
I don't think it is a bad player, but I would be lying if I said I did not have higher hopes for such a high pick.

Great another injury riddled project bust
What do you back that opinion up with?
Javon kinlaw vibes all day. No production or pass rush skill set. Young high ceiling high bust chance. Woulda went with Warren but they panicked and drafted need
I don't believe it, the first "bust". Shake my damned head.
High bust "chance"
Baloney. Every player drafted has the chance to bust. I see no reason to suggest he has a high chance. Now, three posts from you in a row throwing that around. You have said your piece. Now move on.
31% of 1st round picks sign a second contract with the team that drafted them.
Hit rates are subjective but there are no assigned "bust chance" at draft.
That is completely made up.

Nice. That's a win. We always want HOF caliber players but JPP impact is a win too. Just not a bust or underwhelming player. We need positive hits that contribute in a positive way

There's no one that they were going to draft at 11 that was going to make most people happy once Graham and Membou were off the board. Williams can figure in as a major part of the DE rotation as a rookie and hopefully working with Bosa can help him further progress as a pass rusher.

I like the idea of retooling the DL. Back to basics, build from the front to the back.

Still 10 more picks! This draft is deep in the trenches, can find quality players in the 2-5th in this one.

Yep. This draft came at a good time for us.
