Early signs, but they're good, I really hope I'm wrong about this kid, and I'm starting to think I might have been.

We need a strong DT for him to flourish a… Justin Smith

I don't agree, I think Bosa will be enough to guarantee 1 v 1's.

However even if you are right I also believe in Collins and West.

So between us I think we're guaranteeing success!

Why? First of all the idea that Aldon was only good cuz of Justin was always silly to me. We had nobody crack what like 9 sacks before Aldon got here? Sure he helped cuz he was a beast but there were plenty of plays where Aldon just killed his matchup and got a clean sack all on his own.

He's going to have Bosa on the other side and potentially two 300 lb DTs on the same DL. He's going to get a bunch of 1 on 1 matchups unless teams put extra guys in to protect which I'm sure our back 7 is just fine with.

All we need for him to flourish is him staying healthy(as is the case for any player) and simply improving his technique and pass rush plan. He's got the talent to do very well in our scheme.

I mean we take Williams in round 1 and then a DT in round 2 and 4. Working on it.

Yep hopefully one of those two work out Bosa on the other side is great and can hold his own. A anchor at DT will allow Williams to focus on setting the edge more aggressively
Georgia didn't give him the opportunities that being in a wide nine will. He's going to get to take better angles against tackles, and his bull rush and long arms give me Aldon Smith flashbacks. I can't wait. I feel that it can be said with confidence, this dawg will hunt.

They had him playing most of his snaps on the inside shoulder of the tackle. This scheme could very well unleash him to be a monster.

yeah he will be put in a better position to get to the QB here. Aldon Smith play is the dream, I feel like Smith was a little bendy than Williams is…if he can end up like JPP, I'll call that a home run pick.

Same, did not want at all early on then as we got closer realized he may be the logical choice as all the others are gone and that is exactly what happened.
I think Justin Smith was brought up because those two destroyed teams when they would run a game. I can see it with these guys too. I wonder if Bosa would work better next to Collins or West?

Nice clip. You dont see alot of him wide at Georgia. And he does so well to pass rush with the team concept in mind, impoloding the pocket and not getting outside the QB.

This 4-3 over wide 9 package stuff is what has Salah salivating. You can imagine Warner feigning that blitz to freeze the guard and that RB is going to be looking to chip the opposite side. There will be some green lights.
Keep going, I'm almost there...

Cincy is in cap hell. They paid a QB and two wide receivers at the top of the market and has a current pass rusher in Hendrickson that still needs a contract. They can't pay Hendrickson and Stewart.

I mean rookie contracts are pretty straight forward outside of that offsetting language stuff.
