Aldon had all the measurable to go with the talent….height, weight, insane arm length and wingspan. Guy was a freak

I like Alfred Collins but the 49ers should've followed up the Williams pick with Mike Green in the second round. On 3rd downs u move Williams inside and rush Bosa and Green from the edges.

He was projected to be a top 15 pick. He went 59th.

I think it's safe to say a lot of teams took him off their draft board for his off the field stuff and I can almost guarantee we were one of them.

Yup, he was accused for SA in high school, then in college. All he needs is another SA when he's in the NFL and there's the trifecta.

That first rep, tho. That's a beautiful sigh to behold. One of Mykel's weaknesses on tape was that he struggled to take a tight track to the quarterback after he's beaten his man. Love seeing him get that inside foot down and pointed towards the QB. Him dipping, getting low and turning on a dime is exactly what you want to see him improving. This kid is going to be good. I predict that doubters and haters will be in shambles.

The fact that he himself asked John to move inside on 3rd downs only adds fuel to us "haters and doubters". Tells me he knows he's not 11th pick worthy pass rusher.

From what I've seen, I predict he'll never have a 10+ sack season for us.

I don't think he thinks that he's not an 11th pick worthy pass rusher. It just shows that he's a versatile player.

They would never get to third down with nobody to stop the run.

So much freaking potential. I know Kocurek is grinning ear to ear getting to mold this kid.

Love it!! I know he played last season with an ankle injury, is he fully healthy now??

The reports, including Williams himself, have said he's 100% now. So hopefully he stays healthy.

honestly if he was healthy last year, I don't think he makes it out of top 5, probably earlier. At one point he was widely expected to go as the #1 pick (before his injury filled final year).

I always find it hilarious when dudes use any new information as evidence of their pre-existing bias, even if that new information is meaningless to their claim (like the above). It must be exhausting to be so concerned with being right.

Would our team be better if Bosa asked to rush from the inside on 3rd downs? Would the Browns or Cowboys be better teams if Garrett/Parsons asked to move over the guard on 3rd downs?

If only he had the confidence in himself as many of you do

Ah, the good ol' what ifs. None of us know what he's thinking. It's just our own opinions on the matter.

Was the niners better when Armstead would move inside on third downs? Were they better when key moved inside? Were they better when Omenihu moved inside?
