49ers select Mykel Williams-DE-Georgia with the 11th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft | Page 154

Big, powerful edge to form a bookend to Bosa. Still only 20 years old with a lot of room for further development, especially as a pass rusher. Working with Bosa and going up against Trent Williams will do him a lot of good. NFL ready run defender. Asset on twists/stunts. Moving to OLB full-time next season. You need guys who can free up your safeties and keep them in space. He will do that, if you're scared off by the rawness of Stewart https://t.co/cCxv7kRbJg pic.twitter.com/nBWmS23Osy— Max Toscano (@maxtoscano1) April 23, 2025Georgia's Mykel Williams gets the strip-sack on Quinn Ewers while working against left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. Banks replaces his hands quickly after Williams' swipe, but the DE already has the angle through the LT's outside shoulder. #NFLDraft #NFLDraft2025 #2025NFLDraft pic.twitter.com/6Jv78IwO7C— Sam Teets (@Sam_Teets33) October 21, 2024Mykel Williams lined up in a 4i here against Miller. Maximizes length to great efficiency & hands have a ton of power to disrupt & drive blockers backwards. Fantastic run defender playing through extension & holding the PoA. Wow, he does appear to be leaner than last year. He's moving surprisingly well! Dude was massive last season. Not necessarily in a sloppy way either, but he looked like he was pushing 280. Trimming down should help him at edge this season. He looks quicker and looser limbed.

maybe I'm being misled by my optimism, but he looks damn good in his drills! His hand and feet are tied together. He's stepping through with that inside foot. I've always felt it's just a matter of time until he's good. Who knows if it'll be this season, but he looks good in those drills. I'm so pumped to see him back on the field.

Oh goodness we could use him on this line. I'm so excited.

To me he looks as good as how Bosa looked in drills before the injury this year and Bosa was playing great to start off the year.
