I played both sports in high school and yeah, literally no one on the soccer team liked the turf

To be fair its not like anyone on the football team liked it, but it was more tolerable there

f**king turf

I still don't see anything there. He looks fine. Just like he did in the game.

Remember Lions' Stephen Tulloch sack celebration injury? It was on artificial turf and all he did was jump up, but as soon as he landed on his feet, he fell down... it didn't look like anything bad, but he tore his ACL

Also, Bill Gramatica injured his ACL from just hopping around from excitement after kicking a FG... I guess it doesn't take much.

When it's the ACL's time, sh!t will happen

It's just a money deal. duh

You can play more games on turf with less cost than you can on grass...and there is a new group of college players coming in every year who are willing to put their future on the line so a billionaire can add a few more millions.
Reminds me of Greenlaw:/

Yeah but clean acl. Meniscus is not a huge deal, in terms of knee injuries . Still sucks

Meniscus tears are a big deal. Especially at his size.
Hope he comes back quick like Mustapha, and not like BA or career ender like Drake Jackson

Depends on the severity and location . Based off what they said he it won't have any impact on his future and returning 100%

Yep. All a bottom line thing. Maintaining grass is hard and expensive, maintaining turf is cheap.
I don't think AstroTurf even caused this many injuries

I think it was less safe to land on but safer to play on. You didn't wear cleats for astroturf.

Field turf gives more room for both sticking and slipping maybe.

He would be on IR right now if he played for us.

Underwhelming rookie year and now this injury will set him back at least a couple of years

Things are not looking good for Mykel. He could very well end up being the new Tank Carradine.

You are speaking rather callously about our young draft pick
