Mac Jones signed a two year contract with us, what is he even worth in a trade right now?

I don't think the draft pick we would receive would be worth anything, 5th-6th round pick maybe?

Trey Hendrickson

Doesn't make sense from the Bengals' end. If they trade Hendrickson, they're throwing the towel on this season specifically. Next season they expect to have Burrow back anyway.

If they trade Hendrickson, it'll be for draft capital. Not a QB that might win them 3-4 more games in a season they don't intend on competing for a Super Bowl.
How was this not roughing the passer?

It could have been called but I think his momentum carried on top ofJones. It didn't look like he was intentionally trying to crush him. Still the refs could have calle dit.

Personally I hate that rule and the helmet to helmet thing. They are too subjective. Hartd for a pass rusher to not land on top of ther QB when their coming full speed right at him. Same for the helmet to helmet foul. There is often incidental contact and some officials will call it a foul. It's just hard for thre officials to see it when the players are going full speed. Then they have to look at the replay which delays the action.

So why wouldn't this be a roughing the passer penalty? If you slow that throw down - the ball is long gone before the defensive player is there. Then he drives through Mac's chest after it's very clear the ball is down and slams him into the ground.

It was. Question is why wasn't it called?

Answer is: 49ers

One of my favorite passes last night from Jones. He continues to step up in Purdy's absence. This is the best-case scenario for the Niners, and a main reason they're off to a 4-1 start (3-0 vs. their division, 4-0 vs. the NFC).

Agreed with the rules. However the frustration lies in the inconsistency of the calls. Reverse the situation and put Stafford in that position and it's highly likely the call is made in favor of LA.
Another play that seemed like an obvious penalty against rams was their goal line touchdown pass. How was that NOT an illegal pick? The lead receiver was literally screening out our defender as the ball was in the air. No call? That is text book PI. Any o lineman would get called no questions asked. I don't have a screen shot, but I'm sure everyone remembers.

The rams ran a similar pick on late 4th down but on the goaline one I believe you can do it within a yard (and it was)

I have never heard of that. Weird. Does that mean we can blow up the receivers within 1 yard of los even if the ball is in the air?

Yes. That's the risk/reward of playing press. You can really mess up the timing and even get them on their ass but if you can't…you'll probably get your butt beat pretty bad.
I can see why he was a first round pick, he makes quick decisions and gets the ball out quick , he looks good, he looks better than Brock in every way minus the mobility, may have found a gem here, he was in 2 s**t franchises in jags and bills check when he went crazy. He finally in a normal situation and thriving
