Lol
The best thing Trey Lance did was bust quickly, so we could move on. If we had drafted Mac, who knows how long we would have been stuck with a good-ish, but not great QB.

We might have ended up giving him a 5 year, 250 million dollar contract to be a top 15-ish QB.

Jones played very well, and a shout-out to our O-Line.....they did a much better job than last week imo.

Seattle has a great defense

You know what play really stood out to me and impressed me? Was on the final offensive drive (before the kneel). That tight window pass to jennings that would of iced the game - I was impressed that Mac made that throw. I haven't seen the replay, so I'm unsure if Mac missed JJ or JJ just didn't make a tough catch, but I was impressed that he was able to execute that play in that situation. It was a nice throw in a tight window to ice a game.
No Aiyuk, Deebo, Kittle and 1st start with this system, not bad, not bad at all! Now, do it again so we don't have to rush Purdy.

The timing was off by JJ getting hung up with the DB

JJ got hit hard off the line it looked like… disrupted the timing of the play. Ball was out in front. I don't think it was anybody's fault. Just a good defensive play.

Would like to see the all-22

He pretty much played as well as Brock. There wasn't as near as much of a drop off as I thought there would be. Jones has some bigger size that helped on a few plays and not as near as mobile as Brock but he made a lot of the same nice accurate throws and reads as Brock.

Does kind of make you wonder if Brock is worth 265 mil.
Mac did good today. Kyle called a good complimentary game too. Mac getting the swag back with Kyle

Rewatch the 2023 playoffs. Aren't in the SB with Mac Jones.

Lol. I had this one banked. Was going to put it in the Brock thread before it gets bounced to page 2.

Brock has now been on both sides of this meme lol.
I said when we signed him: he can do 85-90% what Brock can do and he can do it for way less money. If we surround him with Kittle, a healthy Aiyuk, Jennings and Pearsall we can win a lot of games with him.

Some of you laughed

He lacks mobility and sometimes his pocket awareness isn't great but he has a good arm and when he gets in rythm he is decisive.

He isn't elite but Brock isn't either.
