I dont think Mac does what Brock did in Indy. It's another level.

There's no debating keeping Mac would be a huge safety net for this team. It just depends on the market for him. It would be hard to pass up a 2nd or 3rd rounder for him

I wouldn't even hesitate if someone offered a 2nd rounder. A high 3rd rounder would also be fine. As good as Mac performed in his backup roll Kyle has shown he can find and teach QBs to be at least adequate in his system. They could certainly use another 2nd or high 3rd round pick.

Im saying they will know whether or not Rourke can be the guy based on what they see in 26. I think he will be. In 2027 you have a Brock and Rourke QB room. Maybe even take a QB late to put on the practice squad on the off chance Rourke looks really good. But they at least need to see him for a year to determine if he can be the safety net.
