After digging in to it I think he learned his lesson. He was embarrassed and ashamed for his poor decision making.
NFL rules say 1st DUI is 3 games. My guess is (and has been) that that is what he'll get.
He's a good player and the 49ers need him.
The Rice situation is different since the CBA doesn't detail the penalty for non-DUI stupid driving. He's got 8 charges coming though so assuming he gets some sort of punishment from the court he's also get some amount of suspension.

NFL players have drive services, but they don't use them when they want to show their cars to people. They love to show their bling off.

I work in a trial court for a rural location. Over the weekend there are maybe 6 -8 arrests. Almost all of those are drunk driving or Assault and Batteries

I expect the team already knows but the NFL is holding back announcing it until the end of camp.

i really hate this signing on a bunch of levels, he doesn't look bad out there but he was doing 100 mph intoxicated, and that's a hard pass for me.
now we kinda made our bed knowing BA might not be ready and we knew this guy was likely suspended.

This is kind of what I wanted this year. I wanted Mason (or Jeanty) as our RB1 between the 20's with CMC as 50% WR, 3rd down back and redzone RB. Best of both worlds. Save CMC from the wear and tear while not a huge drop off in the passing game. Needless to say that didn't materialize

Game 1 WR four-deep is Jennings, Pearsall, Gage, and Chosen? Aiyuk and Robinson are out. Watkins most likely is out. Cowing had another injury setback today.
