I thought about moving it but I don't see an issue letting everyone focus on the overall LB unit given the critical offseason.

Greenlaw as important as he is to the team is just one guy.

True, but Baun's market value according to spotrac is estimated at 9.7mil annual average. I think Greenlaw is going to ask a lot more north of that, if he isn't then should be a easy decision If the 49ers are really in the market for Baun.

Baun - career year in a 3-4 Fangio shell after being an afterthought special team player

I hope the Niners aren't the ones buying high and selling low, but this FO has continuously shown they don't understand concept of value...so I just hope they don't get this idea

We're still a top team players would go to
We're not in bleek financial situation
We have the assets involved to sign/trade for anyone

They are just playing the odds of what we might need and if we can actually get whoever

No way we spend over 10 mil on a LB. That money could go to a C and we could get a vet cheaper like Wagner or someone of his caliber for less

I agree that Baun would be a mistake. It worked in Philly, but 1 great year is not enough for me. Drat a stud and pair with Fred, or get someone Saleh knows, like Sherwood.

If Law leaves, i saw something on that we would go after KC's Bolton.. and or Jets Sherwood would be our guy if we can't get the first two
