You do realize that A.I., largely at this point, pulls from information available to it from the internet and data it already has stored. Thus, it is restating that which has already been said. It is not original thinking.
Now if it blamed our woes on Twinkies, then you might have something.

* Cumulative Wear and Tear: Consistently playing deep into the playoffs means more games, more hits, and less time for recovery. This accumulates over time, making players more susceptible to injuries.
* Reduced Offseason Recovery: Shorter offseasons due to extended playoff runs limit the time players have for their bodies to fully heal and prepare for the next season.
Can rule these two excuses out next season.

Travel miles have always been high for the Niners. It will never change.
If travel miles are a serious problem, the team needs deliberate strategies for addressing it. Train the guys on how to sleep better. Maybe don't put the team up at the Motel 6 next to the municipal waste processing plant. Provide exercises to resolve tightness from sitting in first-class leather recliners for the 5-hour flight to the East Coast. And so on.
The AI picks up the travel idea because it's a cliche in every article written about why teams struggle, not because it's a fact.

Originally posted by fropwns:Yes, A.I. pulls information from data available on the internet. I wasn't doing a simple web search looking for available information, though. I asked it to pull from information in individual datasets and tell me if there is a relationship between those datasets. Then I essentially asked it if the available data supported my hypothesis that the 49ers injury woes are a combination of multiple years of long intense seasons and shorter recovery times due to the long season. I then posted the results.

So no, it wasn't a basic web search asking for information from an existing website. I would have just Googled my question if that was the case.

Why not do the research yourself? The parameters you set for the A.I. will shape the results that you already believe to be true. That is how bad research is done, not good. Good research sets the parameters, but accepts the information objectively that is uncovered--I am not sure A.I. can do that, yet--and the good researcher goes about the hard work of seeing if the hypothesis stands up. If it doesn't, they adjust. I have conducted research that I thought would lead me in one direction, but the findings turned out to be more complicated. So, I adjusted and went at it again. Granted, I did not use A.I. nor would I now. It has it's uses, don't get me wrong, but I am not sure if a simple prompt really gives you a tangible and sound explanation for all that is happening.

80s / 90s Niner teams had deep runs with lots of traveled miles.

All I did was ask AI to grab data and see if there's a correlation. I had a hypothesis and asked AI to gather the data and compare it.

Thus, you grabbed a digital can or echo chamber and asked it to confirm a result you believed to be true, and it confirmed the result. Got it.

Also, churn your own butter, my man. If you eat butter.

Lol. No. The 49ers just relay on often injured players. That's it.
