Schefter is an idiot. "Niners lost a bunch of names I know, and they were 6-11 with those names so they're going to not get better without those names"

NFL is a strange league and nothing is guaranteed but to say because we lost players that either didn't contribute or weren't good we won't have a good year is faulty logic

going into the season i am worried only about our depth at OL (like every team i would imagine) and DB

I really like our DL depth and starter after the draft our LB. And i am not worried about offense that will produce as long as we have Brock and Shanahan. Were getting back CMC and for most part if our WR stay healthy we will be good

Last year there was a point our only healthy WR was Pearsall who got shot a few months earlier. We were just riddled with injuries. I see a huge bounce back this year

I'm sorry, I know this dude has some juice in his world and all, but his wordings sometimes, especially this comment, sounds dumb as hell and reminds me of Nick Sorensen in press conferences, "sometime a missed tackle is a good missed tackle"
whenever you think it's an easy schedule on paper it turns out to be more difficult when the season starts. 3 of them crappy ass teams from last year will somehow be good this year.
I really dont like starting the season on road in a very hostile environment in a divisional game. If it was the Rams or Cards I wouldnt care much because one is Levis south and AZ usually gets a ton of Niner fans.

Facing seattle early in the season when defenses usually are dominating offenses, and our defense will have like 4-7 new starters (end, third cb, likely at least one dt, at least one lb, and likely a safety is Mustapha cant go) is also meh.

It happens every year. That said, starting with the easiest schedule still feels better than starting with the hardest.
