It's pointless. It's become cult like. Eerily similar to fan boys of Alex Smith about a decade ago+ ago. The guy was horrible for this team, but his supporters found every excuse to support his continuing as starter.
now you see the same with Shanahan. He makes obvious mistakes, and his fan club just side steps it. The way I look at it he's one game closer to getting out of town. Hopefully some of his fan club will join him on his next team….
