That's true. In peace talks, the US general said to the North Vietnamese general, you never won a significant battle. The NV general hesitated, and then said "That's true, but irrelevant".

It matters how somone got hired 8 years ago just as it does players after 8 years on the job.

Kyle had to have talked to Jed before he was publically critical of how Kyle had his team playing.

And Kyle recommended Lynch to Jed. He didn't hire him.
