The tackling wasn't great for Buffalo either. The defense wasn't able to get footing so vothe teamswere able to run well. Watching the last 2 games remnded me of watching Ali's last 2 fights against Trevor Berbick and Larry Holmes. In his prme he woud have mopped the floor with those guys but he was a shadow of himself when he faced them.

It looked like everyone had molded cleats. Those are not good in slippery conditions. They should have gone to studded shoes as soon as the snow started to build up. I wonder if they even brought any along?

who's at fault? Kyle? Brock?
We are missing CMC and Aiyuk and kittle get 2 targets? That's just straight BS.

Kittle was being held in to block much of the time. The OL, which isn't great at the best of times, was patchwork last night and it showed in pass protection.

If he wants a ring he asks to be traded to a contender and makes the 49ers a bad memory for him.

When will Nick Sorenson be held accountable for his dereliction of duties

Last year this forum was blaming Wilks. They moved on and the defense got worse. What else changed? Most of the D line is different this year other than Bosa. Hargrave has been out almost all year. Greenlaw has been out all year. Same for Hufanga. Both of them are big hitters that energize the team. Greenlaw is a run stopper as well as a good blitzer when the want to rush the QB. I can't really say the defensive problems are all on the DC. He's using the same system we've been using for years so some of it has to be on the players.

At the beginning of the season, this team, assuming BA would be back to his level of last season, this team was a Super Bowl favorite. No one was looking forward to playing them. One bad game in the snow with 1/3 of the starting offense on the sideline, doesn't change that core.

This core is old and slow. Next year this team is going to look a whole lot different.

Assuming they can find other teams willng to take on the big salaried players.

Three years of deep playoff runs have taken their toll. The team was tired at the beginning of the season. However, that doesn't mean they cannot recover with a longer offseason, which is assured right now.

There is a good core of young players to go along with the vets. These past few games with a lot of hurting players should not dim our view of the future.
Superbowl hangover. There's no other explanation

Yes there is. I've never seen a season where 3 differen plyers had personal tragdy to deal with. Ward loses hus one year old daughter. Williams wife loses twins at birth. Pearsall getting shot. Then you have all the key injuries. Holdouts in training camp. This season just wasn't meant to be the Niners year.

Let's take a vote. How many fans really thought the Niners had a chance when they saw the injury report and the weather forecast. If it's more than one they're probably lying.
Kyle just said Mason and CMC are both going on IR. That effectively ends their season. The sh**t just keeps happening.

Feels a blessing in disguise. Save them from themselves.
Kevin Givens to IR as well
