49'ers play at the Bills at 5:20 pm Sunday. 49'ers are 6.5 underdogs. We can win if Purdy, Williams and Bosa all return. Assuming we get the W:
All these games will be played before 49'ers kickoff:
Seattle loses at NY Jets with Seattle favored 1.5 points. Let's hope Rodgers stays QB for Jets.
AZ loses at Minnesota with Vikings favored 4 points.
3 way tie for first place in the division 😊
Wild Card:
Washington loses at home against Tennessee with Commanders favored 6 points.
Tied for final spot in wildcard 😊

Spare us the mental gymnastics. This team is done. You would be better off talking about which game you think will get us to six wins. I don't see a path to 6 wins this year.

Once again if you require everyone else to lose you are not a playoff team.

Playoff qualification is not unthinkable. What I'm finding unthinkable at the moment is becoming good enough to be competitive even if we do scrape into the playoffs. That's not going to happen in all likelihood.
But if it did miraculously happen, it would require the following -
Good general health.
All of the short-term injured players return and contribute straight away. (Bosa, Purdey, etc.)
All of the long-term injured players return and contribute straight away (Greenlaw, Feliciano, etc.)
Mooney ward returns.
One or two rookies find their feet in a big way (Pearsall would be ideal).
CMC gets back into top form. Deebo gets his mojo back.
Too much to ask for in too short of a time, but I honestly think that we could have been competitive if all of those things had fallen into place.

again, to what end ? Aside from giving us one week's worth of joy before we get ass raped in the WC game, the only thing a playoff berth achieves is stoking Kyle Shanahan's ego so next year we just do more of the same. This ship needs to burn so admin forces changes from the top down.

Let's say somehow the team is miraculously able to make the playoffs. WTF are we doing when we get there?
Are we just happy to get there for the even worse draft slotting than we would otherwise have when we actually do miss the playoffs?
Because we don't have the horses to make any noise if we do get there and we are not a "just happy to be there" organization.
The cupboards may not be completely empty here, but they SAF are in dire need of restocking and a better draft slot, if used properly, could help as part of the restocking process.

I believe if we can get everyone back healthy, including Greenlaw, we can beat anyone.

I think Bears game could be a dub. But what's the point. Might as well lose that one too and get a higher pick.
