Agreed, this gonna be year 1 of the rebuild, it would be a huge mistake to pay Purdy in my opinion, rebuild the trenches first I say, let huff, ward, trade Deebo or release, let Purdy qb one more year but start looking for a qb in the draft, let's face it Kyle can make any qb look good , would be a huge mistake to pay Purdy, do you think he would look this good on any other team? Don't pay Purdy. Start cutting the fat. Anyone who is making big money but is not producing, trade them or cut them. Injury prone guys, trade them. Hate to say it but for many of the stars if they want a ring they need to look elsewhere, it ain't happening here.

Sadly I agree, I'd still keep kittle cause he still producing and bosa, but let's face it mccaffrey is hurt every season since Carolina , last year was like his only year he hasn't been, sorry Christian but you trending down in rb years and we can get good value for him…

this is your core going forward. Build around them starting with the Defensive and Offensive Lines. Everyone else including CMC is not part of that long term rebuild.

Tank for who though? They'll probably be drafting in the middle of the 1st, so it's doubtful there's a slam dunk sitting there. If they don't make the playoffs, the only positives I can think of is that they'll be rested and more motivated (partially since the SB will be at Levi's).
