Lynch doesn't put much stock in Safeties, I doubt they take one in the 1st or 2nd round. And to tell you the truth they shouldn't, because they need O-line again!!

The #49ers have signed S Adrian Amos, per his agents @EquitySports.

Amos finished with 25 tackles, 2 PBUs and a 72.2 PFF grade with the Jets and Texans last season. Graded out excellent against the run, per PFF.

this reminds me of a Gipson like move. Not a world beater anymore, not a bad player overall

We don't need another strong safety type. We are loaded with those. We need a free safety that can defend the deep ball.

Andre Cisco is the guy you're describing. The disgruntled FS on the last year of his contract in Jacksonville.
