The Chiefs "Vibes" weren't high early in the season. They weren't exactly high when Kelce pushed Andy near halftime of the SB while yelling at him. Then they went on and won the damn thing.

I'd focus less on narrative and stories and more about playing football...but maybe that's just me.

I think I'll get there once the season starts.

I agree.

If we have a great season and we finally win it I'll be extremely happy but honestly after losing that game in february despite having a clearly a better team I'm not expecting it.

It is what it is

I think you summed it up perfectly. I don't have faith in this team to get it done. I don't think the players have the same faith in the coaching staff.. The vibe are meh

I don't have faith in the team or shanahan. Andy Reid owns shanahan in the SB. He just can't get it done when it matters. We had the better team but still lost. With this offseason drama of aiyuk playing a role and Trent holdout too. And playing so much has taking a toll on the team. I just see us being average this year.

Last season I believe was our best chance to win it all. You all know it.. The players know it.. And it's showing. Hold outs, contract issues with several high assets players.. Injuries are piling up.. The team was All in last year. I think they can still get it in gear.. But I'm thinking we might come out of the gates slow this season..

Idk? Just my thoughts

Well.. We're definitely off to a slow start for the season. This team is on the verge of a complete crash out of we lose on Sunday 😬. Vibes have been off really... Since the Ravens game last season. They put out the blue print for slowing down the offense. The defense is a complete shell of its former self.. Injuries are catching up to our old team that have played a lot games the last 3 seasons. Hoping for the best but not holding my breath

If you look at Reid when he was leaving the Eagles their fans had no faith in him and thought he couldn't win the big one.
What's he's done since then- signed spagnulo and the refs.
The vibe is...we are derpy vibes.

This group of 49ers just seem really dumb and they get exposed in the biggest moments..we are like a less dumb version of the cowboys

He also found potentially the greatest qb to ever play. Kyle wouldn't have and didn't.. Even look at patty h

I get you...but in reality, we looked like trash for large chunks of 2021 and 2022 as well. 2019 and 2023 were the ONLY seasons where we dominated throughout the season and even 2023 had the 3 week losing streak.

Seems it's kind of our normal to dog it for a spell. Not to say there's no cause for concern because there is. But we also need to be aware of how we've looked the 7 previous seasons to start the year. Not good save for 2 seasons.
If we knew CMC and greenlaw were coming back I'd feel a lot better, but it sounds like even that can't be counted on.
Hargrave going down stinks, but the lack of DL depth makes it even worse
D looks lost out there and no creativity or fire for the 2nd year in a row and 3rd CB still looks to be an issue
ST still looks like a liability
outside of Puni, have gotten nothing from a draft class we all felt good about and thought could make some early contributions. To compound that this last draft seemed like prime opportunity to get OT and C into the pipeline, but adressed neither and watching some of these guys flourish on other teams is a tough pill to swallow.
2 star players that always seem to be dinged up with soft tissue issues are already dinged up and missing time with soft tissue issues
This was also supposed ti be the soft part of the schedule that allowed them to get right and still pad their record.
Vibe felt off in TC and seems just downright bad now

We should play for high draft picks this year.

I hear ya and I hope that's the case. Problem now is, we're Hella old now 😂.
Vibes are the team doesn't care anymore

The offense is one of the best in the NFL. In my mind that is just a fact.Even with the injuries, drops, piss poor pass blocking, this offense is going to be just fine and is going to put up points. I truly believe that.

The defense is the one and only concern and it is a huge one. We all witnessed it at different times last season and were all hoping a new defensive coordinator would solve it but it looks like it might be even worse. I am hoping it was just a bad couple of weeks. But sadly I believe they are just a bad defense right now.

Secondary- I do feel like they should improve over time. and might have just had poor performances. We might need to try different combos at safety to try to get it working. We need to be replacing #22 with someone else. I just hope this gets fixed sooner rather then later.

Linebacker- Dee coming back hopefully will help some and the hope would be to eventually be getting Greenlaw back. By the end of the season we could be really good here but that is a long ways away and a big maybe.

Defensive line- This is the biggest concern for me. If you can't stop the run or rush the passer, you are not stopping anyone. The Dline is already looking terrible and we just lost Hargrave for the season. I never thought I would say this but I wish we had Arik Armstead right now.

There has been a lack of effort from this defense. A lack of intensity. It has been pathetic the last two weeks. If we are going to expect Purdy to play perfect just to eek out a win each week because they can't stop anyone, then it is going to be a long season. I hope they got chewed out this week because it is unacceptable. Maybe they need to strap the pads on in practice, I don't know. It needs to improve and fast.

I agree.

It's not just SB fatigue. It's this regime fatigue. And I think the players are feeling it too. Team has become too stale. Same old concepts. Same old mistakes. Same old coaching. Same old results.

the fire isn't there anymore. this is exactly what happened to Reid's Eagles. The product just became boring because it was repetitive. And the end result was always coming up short.

unless this team can dig deep and pull off some type of miracle, we're witnessing the beginning of the end of this god awful era of failure…
