This seasons vibes are completely off.. I think that superbowl loss is still looming large over this team. I don't think I'm over yet my damn self.

Last season I believe was our best chance to win it all. You all know it.. The players know it.. And it's showing. Hold outs, contract issues with several high assets players.. Injuries are piling up.. The team was All in last year. I think they can still get it in gear.. But I'm thinking we might come out of the gates slow this season..

Idk? Just my thoughts
Best case scenario - we get a couple lucky bounces in the wildcard/divs/nfcg and squeak into the SB with significant injuries and face yet again a fully loaded and healthy Mahomes-led team. Despite the Chiefs being two score faves we play a doozy of a game with BP leading the way and a couple of 49er unsung heroes snatch the souls and hearts of the chiefs to secure our sixth Lombardi!
adversity builds character.

Win or Loose this year will be fine, if our core is as legit as it appears. They just need to finish building out long term options on the offensive line and we should have many seasons as a post season threat. .
nah it's mostly the fans. Just need the games to start going
Agree. This will be a rollercoaster of a season. Followed by a SB championship
I'm expecting a slow start bare minimum due to the injuries and hold outs. Honestly, I think their only chance is if Purdy ascends to an even greater level.

I don't it is.. I've heard several reports from the beat writers talking about the energy at practice is not there compared to last year.. This season feels off and could go off the rails quickly.
Nobody important is injured lol

No energy on the field due to most of the guys being injured and resting
Nothing but positive vibes surrounding this draft class, and the ascension of other young players.

Yeah, the BA drama has been a fiasco, but it sounds like it might end in our favor, and I would rather focus on the team in general.

Again we have a good chance to get over the hump, but the road is not getting any easier for us.
I have super bowl loss fatigue as a fan. Not sure how we can get better since we were so stacked last year and still lost the big game.
It's tough on a team to go so far into the playoffs this many years in a row. Yes it's great for the team and I'm sure they love playing, but other teams are getting an extra month of offseason vacation. That may be the real reason Trent is still "holding out", just to skip camp and get some extra rest.

I hope the new guys like Floyd, Collins, Matos can bring a new energy to the defense. Need some fiery, cocky attitude injected into that squad with Greenlaw out. Warner can't be the only one. I hope the new DC brings a youthful-like energy that Ryans/Saleh provided, but Wilks did not.

Offensively I agree it has to be Brock that steps up his game. Deebo, Trent, Kittle, perhaps even CMC, they aren't going to be better. Those guys are either about to exit their prime, or have passed their prime.

The SB loser always has a hard time recovering the following season. If Brock shows he has stepped up his game, it will create the excitement needed to grind through the regular season so the seasoned vets can get to the actual fun part of the season.

It's probably more on Brock than anyone. The team that wins the SB usually does it because of a great QB performance and/or the defense. And breaks of course.

It's very unlikely to make the Super Bowl 2 years in a row. Especially with a loss. Still this is one of the best NFC teams assuming Trent Williams and Aiyuk both come back. We still have Greenlaw and Hufanga coming off major injuries. Who knows when they are healthy, how effective they will be or how much it will cost us?
