Move him to TE.

Delanie Walker ? Delanie was an ironman and a wrecking ball. Guerendo will get hurt blocking people.

Guerendo is just someone with superstar athletic traits who gets hurt a lot, doesnt break many tackles and has subpar vision.

He's not a bad 3rd down situational/gadget back for returns to have...but question is whether he will ever be better than that. Those three fumbles in practice the other day probably landed him in the doghouse too. I think James is a lot more dynamic and elusive runner than Guerendo

D.W was a guy, Guerendo is not a factor in this league.

Issac can play, we saw it last yr. No need to make up stuff, he can't stay healthy and the same was true in college. That's the problem
I like this dudes talents but him as RB2 made me uncomfortable. I like him as a change of pace back and 3rd RB. Hopefully he can do well on special teams

Nice work. So don't draft a RB in the 4th. Not a lot of quality.Did the 49ers get the memo.

One could argue, ,,,,,,is IG a RB..........

Would you say Williams, Sermon, Price and IG are in the RB2 category? I see
3 RB0 and a RB3. Remember two of those RBs were drafted before the 4th.

Cowing did zero last year with opportunity due to BA and Pearsall injuries. MAybe he gets healthy and shows something with BA and Robbnson out. I am not holding my breath.

Not a lot of quality at any position in the 4th. Once you get to day 3 you aren't likely getting a long term starter. Just hoping for a guy who can develop into a good backup.

I'm only speaking on Guerendo and where he currently is. Obviously the other guys were misses. Guerendo showed more last year than any of those guys ever did.

What seems to be clear is your expectation of every pick is when they are given their opportunity they should show they are a starter. If they don't do that they are a bust. That's just not a realistic premise to have with day 3 picks.

We went 6-11 last year

I'll take Wilson Jr over this guy all day if there isn't room for both.

I think Jeff Wilson could be stashed on the practice squad while Guerrendo would get snapped up and is cheaper.

Keep Guerendo as the change of pace then inevitably a RB in our system gets dinged up and move Wilson back up to the regular 53.

Shany is quite running back happy. Often picks them too much, trades away picks for them and sometimes outright misses badly in the draft on them. Even lets them go away to other teams. Sometimes a trade or just a free agent departure. There doesn't seem to be huge logic here. Worse is the lack of drafting offensive line early.

Wow, what went wrong in 18,19, and 20?

It does when you look at how a player contributed to a teams success. Why celebrate CMC or Roger Craig who's performances led to the teams success in the win/loss column?

Players can have a good season and the team can be subpar. s**t happens every yr.

That's like saying Jake Brendel was an elite center in 2023 because they went to the SB lol

IMO that's a poor rebuttal as to why Issac stinks

Gurendo should be used as a gadget / mismatch player - I actually think RB3 suits him well. He excels when he is in space (and he's a very good receiving threat). Given the lack of proven WRs the first month of the season - I would like to see Guerendo used in various ways to create mismatches. He could pick up *some* of the slack left by Deebo (emphasis on some).

The bad news for Guerendo is I'm not sure Shanahan trusts him - and he does trust Jeff Wilson Jr. Jordan James is a real wildcard. The 53 man cuts will be interesting - Wilson shapes as the most logical cut if they are to keep 4 RBs + Juice as he'll be the easiest to bring back. The other most likely option is to IR James for the year. The out there option is to trade Guerendo.
