Dominick Puni, OG - Kansas - 3rd Round 2024 NFL Draft

Kind of a ticky tac holding call. I saw Trent williams playing absolutely terrible this game though. The one play he didn't even block his guy and let him free rush and then the next play he got owned completely.

Williams will be gone next year and puni will just continue to get better.

You're certainly not wrong, but it looks to me like he's just gutting his way through his injury. You don't lose quickness and strength in your second year, but an injury can certainly rob you of both.

It's a shame for him that the bye is so late in the season this year.
He and Colby just grinding while hurt I hope our depth (especially Moss) can step up if needed

Even if it was holding it was at the 2 yard line not sure how that was a safety
His regression this year is killing the OL.

the OL is doing fine. From a pass blocking perspective it looks like a top 10 OL this year cant wait till brock plays with our weapons

If you're willing to ignore the run game and you're okay with multiple QBs being injured in only three games, I can see where you're coming from.
The holding call was the correct call.

The safety call was not.

But I will take it — without the safety field position is completely different the rest of the game so we might not win, ironically.

i mean we are in top 10 in sack % allowed (as in we sacks/ dropback) . The run blocking is not something i am concerned about because teams are stacking the box once we get Juan Aiyuk etc that will not be possible anymore our only outside weapon is Pearsall

i have to question what you know what you are watching if you watched the first 3 games and think the OL has been a problem

We are near the bottom in average and yards per game rushing and the only team in the league without a rushing TD through week 3.
I expect it to improve but it definitely has been a problem so far.

im talking about pass protection

Right now teams are stuffing the box on run because we really only have 1 weapon on the outside when Aiyuk and JJ come back things will open up for the run game
