I wish him a speedy recovery and return to good health. If he can return to health, then we get another great skill player back.

He's not heading for big money IF he can recover from all this. He has a LOT to prove and that is why he's rather hurt himself when his rookie deal is done regardless of where he lands IF he can play. Then again if not, here is what he's made . . . as of August 2026 he has made $8,107,583 in total cash earnings over his NFL career so far . . . and he'll get paid this year his salary 1.9 million even being on PUP . . . if he managed that correctly he should be set for life and do it before he's 26 . . . no worries for him.
The drafting of Stribling told you all you needed to know on how the 49ers felt about Pearsall. Expect them to draft another WR in next year's draft . . . and don't expect them to trade away for big players as this team is really in transition and they need to start replacing their geriartic elite members who are over 30. That means keeping their draft picks and going with what they have acquired. They'll be competitive I think, just not dominant this year. We'll see.
Moving forward including this season, they need to find young guys to step up and I fear we'll be in a rebuild in 2 to 3 years IF they miss on picking up core players. That is what I am excited for for this season. To see who from the last couple of drafts steps up and seizes their opportunity or if they have the personal who will do that. I think its time for the fan base to begin looking for the next gen of players as the core is aging. Pearsall could have been one, I think most of us don't think he is because of the injury history. Jury will come in at the end of 2027 for him so nothing to fret about until next season for Pearsall.
he will and should get a 1 year prove it deal. I still think its clear he has balled ouw when he plays but he hasnt played much. I do beleive him playhing on PCL last year probablly f**ked up the healing.
This falls squarely on the Athletic Training staff. He should have been shut down and had surgery. Nothing has changed since early last season yet all the sudden he needed surgery. Obviously, he needed surgery a long time ago. Had they been proactive he would be ready for this season. I mean if he would have had it right after the season, he would be ready best case scenario Early November this season. I am not a big believer in the current Training staff at all. San Francisco has been a top 10 most-injured team in six of seven seasons between 2019 and 2025, with the lone exception being the 2023 season. They Fired Jeff Ferguson and Ray Wright after 2017 and 2018 were both bad injury years. We did not get better I think we got worse.
2025: 3rd Most Injured Lost Divisional 2024: #1 most injured 2023: #29 most injured ? 12-5, lost SB 2022: #9 most injured ? 13-4, lost NFCCG 2021: #3 most injured 2020: #1 most injured 2019: #6 most injured ? 13-3, lost SB

Which is against the advice of all medical experts in relation to this injury. If they had done that you'd be b***hing about how the SF medical staff should have followed the general medical consensus of non-surgical recovery.

Especially if you have a complete tear with knee instability and don't get it diagnosed quickly. You may continue to have symptoms, such as pain and swelling. Eventually, your knee may give out. This can damage your knee's cartilage, other ligaments or meniscus. If the cartilage damage is severe enough, you may need a knee replacement."

It was a sprain, not a tear. Standard practice is non-surgical. This was discussed thoroughly earlier in this thread.
Now, you may think "Conspiracy!!! His knee was torn in half and they hid it and were stupid!" because you're all "Grrr, me angry!" and so on, but you have nothing to actually back it up.

"Isolated PCL injuries do not typically require surgery," said Ramkumar, who works at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center. "We usually operate when a patient has failed nonsurgical treatment for several months, if not years."

Looks like he finally had the surgery. Wish him a speedy and healthy recovery.
