He needs to learn to just go down . It's not honorable but he should absolutely start doing it .

I honestly think he should just go down right away. He's pretty good at running good patterns, getting open, using speed, catching the ball. He just can't handle getting tackled. LOL. The first time he gets tackled in each game he may be knocked out for the game. He's slight frame and very fragile. Needs 15 pounds of muscle in the offseason and more stretching and flexibility training. He also does need to pick his spots and know when to go down. He's not a Deebo type who can bulldoze. He will just knock himself out like that.

He needs to watch some Tyler Lockett tape

That's good news.

is it really? It means he can get injured during practice lol....
SEA doesn't have anyone who can cover Ricky 1v1. Would be a huge boost to the offense if he is able to go.

What are we talking about? Dude's knee is s**t right now. That's why he's in and out of the lineup. If you want him to go down because of his knee fine. Once he's healthy go get yards after the catch.

I would love to see Jerry help coach some of these guys, specifically on how to go down without getting hurt. IMO that was the most underrated part of his game. He was ALWAYS able to find that way of getting tackled without getting injured.

I think that's the main thing. But in general I wouldn't be upset if he put more emphasis on protecting himself. He's an outstanding route runner and has shown that he can consistently beat coverage. I'll take him gobbling up 10-20 yards at a time and keeping him in the lineup while missing out on some YAC if that's what it takes.

Agreed, the other day I popped in here and 90% were talking about getting rid of him next season. Wild and comical s**t

It is the instant gratification behavior that has taken over our society via internet/social media..Doordash..Facebook.."I wanna push a few buttons and have everything I want. Now." Lol "Look at the pretty colors on my phone..it goes beep and I get cheeseburger."

I did call Ricky, Princess Pearsall a couple of times out of frustration lol but naa dude, guy would be out there ballin' if he could. He does make those sharp moves that gotta be hard on the knees..I worry about him pulling something just by watching him practice lol, crazy moves.

Would you bet on that?

Everyone is rooting for the guy, it's just that, not everyone has confidence in him.

Why wouldn't ppl have confidence in him? Confidence to stay on the field or as a player?

Agree....except that time when Sapp destroyed Jerry's knee. It was awhile ago but I seem to rec all it was on a dirty play by Sapp. But generally Rice was very good at avoiding that stuff.

Confidence to stay on the field. I think everyone pretty much agrees that he's a great player, but if he's not available, what good does it do?
Sounds like he is practicing again today. Great News.
