I dont understand why Watkins isnt playing. Can he not run routes or something? They need receivers with actual speed.

Yeah. We need his ability to beat man and bring speed.

I'll be disappointed if we don't have either Watkins/cowing/ or Pearsall out there. We need that speed. I like Watkins and don't understand why he can't get reps. Shanahan just doesn't seem to trust young guys.
watkins has been in the system for a year in practice/meetings etc. give him some reps this week while others are resting and see if you can trust him.

You can still be football soft still compared to his peers. Like his teammates are out there playing with no ribs, a bad hamstring, Brock played with a bum toe, Mac played with 1 leg.

All the talk in TC was that he was way ahead of where he should be.

Then ran one wrong route in preseason and barely saw him since.
