Pretty much. I remember Philip Rivers playing on a torn ACL in the playoffs.

Why I think the hate Ricky is getting is extreme. I get people being frustrated but there is no way that Ricky wouldn't be out there if he physically could do what he needs to do.

If he's out there and unable to do what he needs to do to help us...then he shouldn't be out there. It sucks but I'd rather have Watkins up for the game and hoping he can get in there and help us vs have Ricky hobble in there and tip off his routes or get hurt worse and then we're down a WR with another one inactive.

I get it and would rather he had been shut down until healthy than be teased in this way. But after Seattle, the moment he didn't practice all week I had no expectations. I hope Shanahan didn't either. Curious to see his game plan because we still have the same problem- no man beating receivers.

He's good when he plays but he just can't stay healthy. Hes got next year to prove himself. I'm not blaming him for getting shot. This year he had the pcl. If he's injured next year then he's a true bust.

If we possibly win this game is there a chance he might play next week? Does anyone know how bad the injury is?

He hurt himself in practice last week. Not even from the game, which he came back in against the Bears. I think this is the same knee that's been bothering him all year.
Not ready to write him off yet for next season, or forever, but the best ability is availability I heard.

Agreed. I would look to unload him this off season but for now I'm hoping he might come back next week. Just a hope, probably not realistic.

He was a 1st round pick so we have a 5th year option
