Yes, i am even more perplexed at the quantity of #1s, I was expecting only Chase, Ceedee, and Jefferson, then maybe a Nabers/Mcconkey/Harrison up and comers type.

also there are players less than 1000 yards and 70 catches as TRUE #1s. Meanwhile a dude whos career average falls only behind Jefferson(yds) and Chases(rec) year as not a #1.

I mean Garrett Wilson, but not Amon-Ra.

I seriously thought he just had EXTREMELY high expectations.

I do not think that he disagrees, just that he maynot have put up the numbers he did if there was another reliable target. He could also have put up better(efficient) numbers if someone said I will not let him be triple teamed

Reggie Wayne, Edgerrin James, Dallas Clark, Stokely, and a few others consistently over 60 catches were eating each others desserts.
Cooper Kupps big year, #2had 61 catches and #3 had 50. He accounted for more than a third of their catches.
Harrison's big year he was near 40%.

Ceedee lamb, justin jefferson, jamar chase. They are my elite 1's. Then Amon-Ra and AJ Brown. That is it.

Not sure if the reply went through. Shorter version. Him evans and adams down year wrong side of 30 no longer #1s. 3 teams he likely does not start for DET/CIN/MIN. HOU/DAL/BUCS/LAR he would be competing to start. That is not a elite #1, an elite #1 starts on ALL 32. Aj brown may struggle to fit in an offense

HOLT - JOHN TAYLOR - JOHN STALLWORTH - WES CHANDLER - HINES WARD - ANQUAN BOLDIN - REGGIE WAYNE - TIM BROWN were never a ONE in MY OPINION..

If Rice not on 49ers, JT = #1, if Isaac Bruce not playing across from Holt, Then Torrie is Lambs' #1... Brown not a #1 you say?

In the game, there are going to be exceptional number ones and there are the elites (Rice, Moss, Megatron, etc.)

As for Pearsall, can we at least give the kid one offseason to prepare w/out having to deal with gunshot wounds before labeling dude

... and that would have been BY DEFAULT.. and we would have never gone to any Super Bowls had JT was our ONE with Mike Wilson, Mike Sherrard, Sanjay Beach or Ed as his Robin.

I hate to further drag this thread away from its subject, but we went to two super bowls without Jerry. And I notice none of you have taken any account of Roger Craig. Maybe you ought to.

Gotta get these soft tissue injuries under control. I'd rather it not happen at all but if you're gonna get them, get those bodies right before training camp.

Need a healthy season from everyone and Ricky gotta be healthy and sharp, especially while BA recovers.

Maybe the 49ers are more strict on PEDs, we need to let our players use deer antler spray or some other substance to heal quickly like the rest of the league. From my understanding steroids have become so murky to make illegal because they keep changing a single molecule which forces another entire investigation. So the only way they can catch you is if you are above a natural testosterone level

Ya....get your ass in shape before OTAs. All the resources you could possibilly want......use them and be physically fit and ready.
