I'm expecting a 250 yard and 1 TD season from Pearsall.

Same… except in 1 game.

lol

Honestly, that's actually pretty decent considering there's three veterans who have been the top three starters for the past few seasons. I think Pearsall will breakout in his third season when Deebo's time will be up.

BA re-signing is really better for Pearsall in the long run anyway. He gets to learn from someone he looks up to, who's well-rounded, great route runner, great blocker; gets to learn the nuances of this complicated offense while being eased in / to give guys breathers instead of having to be relied upon immediately

Let's hope he doesn't learn from Aiyuk on how to hold-in for a big contract.

I am sure BA is 12 times the mentor Deebo would be......

Deebo takes too many plays off

I don't get the deebo slights around here. This team isn't winning anything without him.

If Deebo had Jerry's work ethic, he'd be a hall of fame level player by now.
It still baffles me they picked this guy although it shouldn't because they are clueless in the 1st round. Have Deebo and Yuk locked up. Jennings is probably the best 3rd down WR in the league and you have an OL that's garbage on the right side. What good is WRs if your QB has zero time to throw. This team continues to learn nothing from SB defeats to KC. Their DL in 2 games punked the OL.

Which OL would you have picked at 31?

Agree, but keep in mind before Pick #31, Joe Alt, Latham, Fashanu, Fuaga, Mims, Fautanu, Morgan and Guyton came off the boards.

The O-Tackles taken after Pick #31 were Patrick Paul, Blake Fisher, Rosengarten and Kinglsy Suamataia, etc... I reviewed the scouting reports for these guys taken after Pick #31, and the general feeling I got from reading all the scouting reports was that after the first round O-Tackles got picked, the rest were meh, they had inconsistency issues, injury issues, or not a lot of production but potential. For example Kingsley Suamataia had inconsistency issues, and wasn't considered a very good run blocker. Our Dominick Puni, the scouting reports say he had size and athleticism but was considered a sleeper pick, and not a slam dunk pick, and graded at round 3-5. If you want to replace a Trent Williams you needed one of those guys (Alt, Latham etc...) to fall to #31, it just didn't happen in 2024.

If you want a guy, you can get a guy. There was nothing to prevent Niners from trading down and then grabbing one of the other tackles. Or trading up to get someone like Guyton. This was one of the best offensive tackles drafts in years, and they got like half a tackle with Puni who may be an emergency tackle.

Niners are consistently at the bottom of the value draft picks. They dont understand or want to understand the concept of value. The problem is when they reach for guys they are much more often wrong than right. See guys like Latu, Beathard and so forth. Still they think they are the smartest people in the room. You'd think a failure like Lance and having to cut your third rounders every other year would teach them...but not really.

The Niners would be in a much better position were they to take any tackle from rounds 1-2 with their pick over Pearsall. Pearsall is a luxury pick for this year for a running team.

Nothing to prevent them except a willing trding partner. Very few teams want to trade with a good team that might only need one more player. If they do they want a kings ransom.

IMO Deebo's value is more valuable in the locker room/off the field more than on it.
welcome to the s**t hole that is San Francisco. But for real, I hope he's okay. Hearing that he was shot in the f**king shoulder....
