A common criticism of Staley's defenses with the Chargers was that they were far too complex, resulting in confusion and busts. I suspect his influence is what's causing so many miscues in the secondary. He shouldn't be with the team next year.
Why would Staley have any miscues in the secondary when Sorensen is the DC and was the secondary coach. Staley has always been a LB coach in the NFL. You could probably blame him for Campbell but the secondary is on Sorensen.

Staley or Sorensen at least once a game where there is confusion or miscommunication causing a bust. Usually when trying to line up over a bunch/trips. There definitely seem to be moments where these guys don't understand or trust the scheme.
