You can't justpoach a coach if it's a lateral move. The team can block it. Maybe the Niners and Jets are working on some sort of compensation in order to get Ulbrich.

I was thinking that too, Pete makes too much sense but with the more time that passes I feel that Bill Bellicheat is interviewing current staff to figure out who needs to be replaced or just interviewing who he needs. What makes me believe this is a previous interview of Kyle saying he would fire his current staff to hire someone like Bill Bellichick.

Brick is also from the Bay and runs the same defense with the Jets.

He has one season as a DC. Spags was already a very good DC before the Rams job.

I have no idea where Ulbrich came from? Isn't he a jet?

Everything is chance of course, but just like players have medical flags Staley has big fat red flag as a coach. I didn't see any of the other newly hired HC running to get him as their DC either..... There are many other candidates they can take a chance on without the baggage.
