Odd because 21 of their 29 attempts came in the first half.
Ya they also didn't have the ball very much in the 2nd half. Then they went down 10 points

They did not get behind until 9:56 in the 4th. And that was only 3 points. They threw their gameplan of running out the window because they panicked.

I give the D some credit the 2nd half drive chart:
TO on downs
FF
Punt (3 and out)
TO on downs again
TD allowed with 1 min left, up 2 scores (and they needed 11 plays on this drive, including being run stuffed at the goalline, which burned the TO)

As do I but I'm not going to act like they turned up some insane halftime adjustments like people have been saying here. To me the Detroit drops and how they just stopped running the ball were bigger factors in the comeback than SF making adjustments. Guys were wide open on numerous plays in the 2nd half. One of those was a dropped TD pass in the end zone. After the two playoff games I have very little faith in this D especially against Patrick.

Recent history has shown that the Chiefs are more consistent than the 49ers, where it counts most = playoffs.
Two things have to occur for a 49ers win (even by 3 pts):
49ers defense has to step up big time (anyone who follows the 49ers knows it). The chances of that happening? maybe 40%
The Chiefs defense has to under-perform. The chances of that happening, with Spagnuolo + their experience, maybe 30%
The chances of both happening, and we really need both to happen in some fashion, is about 12%
Keeping math aside, the eye tests showed that the 49ers needed the two weeks to really improve in some key areas. Chiefs mostly have to continue what they have been doing, I don't think anyone is asking them to change, over-perform or do anything extra-ordinary. Those two scenarios by themselves tell a lot.
Ok, any given Sunday.
Math? That's sounds like made up what ifs. Not actual data.
People acting like KC has faced an offense like SF with all the talent they have. Name me one team in the last couple months??
Meanwhile SF has played two offenses that have actually been better (much) compared to KC this yr. There's data/film to back that up. Not made up %
lol at the 12%. So random. Everything is 50% since either it happens, or it doesn't happen.
I'm fairly certain it's actually closer to 16.465984515198448%

These are opinions and thoughts, and if anyone has diff %s, so be it, it's ok too. In the end, regardless of the numbers, what this aims to tell is that the chances of both happening is very low. That's the main takeaway.

The Chiefs scored 14 points on Baltimore when they went through Andy Reid's scripted plays. They scored only 3 points after.
We have to start out strong, weather the storm, and let Reid's script wear out. Once Mahomes is left with the dinks and dunks, then we clamp down.
