It nearly flips when leading: Purdy is 122, Hurts is 83.

When the eagles are behind late its either a huge Swift run or a desparation heave by Hurts that gets them back into it. Our defense is one of if not the best at preventing explosive plays. Eagles have been a 2nd half team typically playing from behind. The 49ers are a 1st half team that is typically playing with a lead.

Eagles have been a 2nd half team typically playing from behind and WINNING it. The 49ers are a 1st half team that is typically playing with a lead and prone to LOSING it.

Hurts is clutch and knows how to win gritty games. 9ers will need to play hard for 4 quarters to get this win. I thought Brock did great against the Browns in getting a winning field goal chance - too bad Moody missed a gimme.

Too much money was bet and it shifted the spread from them favored to us favored.

Agree, we should be (just my opinion) -3 in this game.

Maybe Vegas wants everyone taking Philly so they can make a call and have the refs flip the script on them for once?? One can dream lol...

I was scratching my head too, but Philly has had to come from behind in I think 4 straight games? They have been outgained by over 100 yards in the last 4 games as well.

I also think they had more turnovers too. Basically by many measures they should be losing, but have been fortunate with timely big plays in the second half.

Not only is our defense tops in the league at preventing explosive plays. When we get a 2+ score lead we don't give it up.

stop whining about the rain

I REALLY hope it doesn't rain.

I also really hope it doesn't rain. Lol I f**kin hate rainy games. HATE them. Almost as much as I hate the Seahawks and cowboys. I like football weather. I sure don't wanna play a running qb in the rain either. Huge advantage for Philly.

i want bills to win this weekend and hurts to be hurtin, but injured, but not feeling good. Lol
Why? I've been told countless times on this forum that the rain doesn't matter, even that the Niners played most of the games last season in the rain, and we obviously know how well they did.
There are 0 positives to playing in the rain.

The forecast says 30% of rain for a day next week lmao in other words it's probably not going to rain, you guys find the most minor things and stress over it

It's pretty easy to connect the dots about why we hate rain games- We still have PTSD from the Harbaugh-era NFC championship game and expect Kyle Williams to come in and fumble it.

Its more recent than that. The ATL game in 2021 and the CLE game earlier this season is what has me apprehensive when it comes to rain games. Hope Purdy is spending this week working with a wet ball.

Chicago game last year

That in essence cost us home field (one can argue Jimmy's happy feet dancing out of his own end zone). If the NFCC game was in SF, I suspect we would have been going to the SB. Of course, we'd be pouting about our 5-3 SB record right about now…

You do realize that if we won the Bears game or the Broncos game, we might not be seeing Brock Purdy?

Of course, that's assuming Jimmy doesn't eventually get hurt (which is possible he does anyway). But if not, I'm not sure if/when we would've seen him.

Hell if the Bears game went differently, how much longer does Lance last?

So many unknowns.....

If I am Philly I am attacking the right side of that line every snap with the idea of stopping the run and making Purdy beat us.

Offensively they will have that ball out fast and use Hurts against our aggressive rush. Oddly enough I feel If the right side of our o-line plays ok I can see the offense controlling the ball and doing very well. I am thinking Kittle could kill them. It's all about the line.

The defense you know how I feel. This is the game Wilks can show his worth and I hope he has some wicked tricks up his sleeve. The defense has been very Jekyll and Hyde this year. I fear them stopping swift and Hurts. I expect tons of screens by philly etc. I hope Wilks has them all ready with a wicked gameplan. And they cannot s**t the bed for ANY quarter against a great team like this lol

I want us to run it to the right. Right at Reddick. Wear his ass out.

Hurts get the ball out fast? 🤣 He has the 2nd highest (3.15) overall TTT in the NFL this season. Brock has the 12th fastest (2.68). If I had to pick which QB I think had the better chance of beating the pressure, I am going with Brock all day long.

That may happen anyway. Their pass protection is much lower rated than run block. The Key is to further cement the coming of Brandon and Brock.

Kyle was going to use Lance as a battering ram until he got injured. Jimmy always gets injured. Kyle wanted Brock as QB1 the whole time so everything worked out as planned.
Heard this on the Locked on Podcast this morning and it has a lot of meaning.

Fans made such a big stink after that MIA game that the eagles were actually flagged 10 times for 98 yards against the cowboys during their very next home game. A big stink is being made this week. So maybe we'll get lucky with the officiating.

How the F is Nick Sirianni in talks as COTY and Kyle isn't?

the whole debate as to why Kyle isn't is because the team is really good (which is crap because he's the guy that put it all together)….we really gonna say Nick Sirianni is playing with a bunch of rag tag overachievers that he's coached up? b******t.

if anything what kyle is doing with "Mr irrelevant" is by far more amazing, than what nick has done with his $250M QB.

It's wild you got people saying it's Kyle that made Brock and he's just a system QB BUT he's still not getting credit in regards to be a legit COTY….SO if he's not COTY then let's finally say that Brock is f**king good the media/journalist/fans seem to not give anyone credit.

Perfectly said bro!!!!!

Pisses me off to no end

They should just add the ref crew to the graphics, as they show the Eagles' starting line ups.
