Availability is not his strong point.

What are you talking about ... just 3 years ago he played over 3/4 of his teams snaps!
Yeah, it's been long enough to see that he's struggling to stay on the field, and it's not likely to suddenly change at this point.

Now let's see what Moss can do.

Feel for this dude, his whole NFL career has been plagued by injuries. When he's out there he's not awful.

No. We've seen what Colby can do and it's pretty good. I want to see Moss get in at center :)

Yeah. Probably tries REALLY hard to "solve" whatever weakness he has each time, then gets injured again ... and again ... and again.
Some people's connective tissue/muscle fiber cannot take the forces they are trying to put through them repeatedly.
Maybe he figures it out this time and finishes his career healthy.

I never advocate for player injuries, especially our own. But I won't be that mad if Brendel has a ankle sprain and Moss gets a shot

Has moss played any meaningful snaps at center?

Just at camp. Realistically the backup center is Hennessy. Colby got some pre-season snaps at center IIRC.

Bartch apparently has a high ankle sprain. If goes on IR for a few weeks, then they'll probably have to bring Moss up from the practice squad to be the back-up guard.

Maybe in the future the 49ers should draft players that have been injured in college and track how quickly they came back since they're sure to get injured once the Niners draft them.

I guess Burford can backup at guard too :0
