Great re-signing, likely minimum deal, or close to it with some nice signing bonus for him, he earned a raise IMO, looked so good till he got hurt in place of Banks, I'd be fine with TW-Bartch-Brendel/FA/Draftee-Puni-McKivitz/Rookie as the OL, I would love an upgrade at C & RT of course.

Bartch was one of the few guys I really wanted us to bring back. Greenlaw is the guy I want the most that will cost substantial money. Bartch and Moore were the two guys I wanted us to bring back on the OL for cheap. One down.

these signings are as needed to form a competitive team as those of the big stars. Having a starter caliber player at the minimum cost is huge.
And Ben Bartch played really well last year, he could form a very solid IOL with Puni and Drew Dalman.
Oh, and he can play center. He could be Dalman's backup and then we could cut Brendel once and for all
Great news

Started center in 2021, started LG in 22. Injuries has derailed his 23 and 24 seasons

oh ya, I forgot about him. And if Hennesy can be considered a solid starter, as you imply, that's perfect,... when we'll sign Dalman we'll already have the IOL formed and we can cut both Brendel and Burford,... saving 2,4M and 3,3M respectively

It's funny. I was just talking to someone two days ago about our respective teams off-season and I told him the guard position doesn't seem to be a position that the niners will ever spend huge money in under Shanahan so I could see them bringing Bartch back. He's cost effective and played well when he was in there. He also offered positional flexibility.
I do expect the niners to chase an upgrade at center this off-season.

Possibly. He's certainly going to compete for it. Probably with a draft pick and another veteran.

Very good resigning and smart move.
He knows the offense and played well in the games before getting injured.
It, IMO, will make it easier to focus on other OLine guys.
Getting Dalman as a Center in FA will be another good step.

1 pressure allowed in all the time he was allowed to play before getting hurt. Good signing imo, comes to compete and has a chance to fight for the starting spot.
