The concern was that it would equalize the game more than a good weather game, which was true. It still wasn't as big of a factor as the Browns DL dominating the Niners OL, or the injuries to Deebo and CMC.
This is a silly thread. Rain is an equalizer. And as a fan of the team that is going to be the favorite in virtually every game we play, I would rather not have an uncontrollable factor close the talent gap, when it wouldnt exist if it was sunny.
Not sure why OP thinks that is fans "whining" or it being wrong/"pansy" to prefer sun.
